Overview of San Francisco Residential Programs and
Intake Process For Detox and Residential Treatment
The only requirement for receiving services is a desire to get help. Treatment is customized to the needs of each individual and can include:
- Individual and group counseling
- Therapy
- Case management
- Housing and employment support
Our services are based upon evidence-based practices, so that the therapeutic environment and the clinical interventions are appropriate and effective for the needs of the people in each program. Our programs are gender-responsive and are open and welcoming to people of any gender identity. We encourage our participants to invite their family members to join them for therapeutic and recreational activities whenever possible.
Treatment is provided by compassionate and dedicated staff made up of certified alcohol and drug counselors and mental health professionals. Many of our staff have personal experience with addiction and recovery. To access to our services, you must be a resident of San Francisco County.
